Please do not drink alcohol or take recreational drugs 24 hours before
the Reiki classes. Prescription medications are allowed. If we smell alcohol on you when you
come to class, you will be asked to leave and you will have to start that course over with another scheduled
course. There will be no refund or credit toward future course.
Dress: Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Wear
or bring layers that can easily be put on or taken off. Bring socks or slippers with cloth soles, as you will be
removing shoes. Sometimes the room can get cool or warm, depending on what
topic is being practiced.
Hair must be let down, not in a pony tail, bobby pins, or in any other way

In this beginning level, you will learn how to do self-treatments, as well as
the basics of how to treat other people, plants, animals, babies and distant

There are no prerequisites for Level I.
In addition to instruction and practical demonstration you are provided with ample time to practice
what you learn each session under direct observation and supervision to ensure you understand and
are comfortable with the information and procedures. Each class has a short reading assignment from
the manual as homeword to prepare for the next session, as well as practicing the techniques you
learn each class. You will receive a Reiju attunement at the end of each class. This will give you
a stronger connection to the Reiki Universal Life Force energy.
There is a 21 day detox period between each level.
